SAIC Gets $98M Modification on Army Computing Support Contract

Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) will continue to provide technical and management support for the U.S. Army’s high-performance computing infrastructure under a one-year, $97.5M contract modification.

The Army Corps of Engineers obligated $1.01M in fiscal 2019 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of the award, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

Locations of work include Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland and Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.

SAIC initially won an $84.7M incrementally funded contract in June 2016 to help advance high-computing services at the Army.
